I was disappointed that the colts lost there opener. hopefully we can rebounds and still take the division. im glad only the titans won in that division too.

Other news if you haven't heard NE pats QB Tom Brady will be out for the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered against KC on sunday.

Well those are the standing after week 2. i would have posted the results but i couldn't find one i could copy and paste and beings no one seems to get on this topic besides me then why should i?

but anyways my thoughts on this week.

The chargers totally got screwed by the refs. and it was even admitted. but they did have a chance to stop the broncos on 4th and goal not to mention the 2 point conversion. but this was all around a FANTASTIC GAME!

i didn't see it but the colts came back from 15 to nothing in the 4th to win it 18 to 15. im very happy they wioon. the do seem to be a little rusty still though but i think as time goes on we will get better. tough loss for the viking though who now go to 0-2

on the other end of the NFC north we have the packers who are now 2-0. Aaron rodgers sure has been doing a great job since becoming the QB. and its even more impressive given all the pressure on him to replace farve.

speaking of farve. he and the jets loss to the pats behind the arm of matt castle. it was a very impressive start for castle. his first starts since HIGH SCHOOL! and he won! so maybe the pats are still the team to beat? only time will tell but its looking good for them right now...or at least as good as it gets when you lose brady.

Rodgers hurts shoulder vs. Bucs

Posted: September 28th, 2008 |  NFL.com Staff | Tags: Aaron Rodgers, Brian Brohm, Green Bay Packers
After leaving with a shoulder injury in the third quarter, Aaron Rodgers returned late in the fourth quarter. He threw an interception on his second pass following his return, which led to a touchdown for the Bucs.
Rodgers sat out the remainder of the game and was replaced by rookie Matt Flynn at quarterback.
Rodgers first left after throwing a 48-yard TD pass to Greg Jennings with 1:55 left in the third quarter. Rodgers threw a few passes on the sideline, but sat out a series in favor of Flynn.
Rodgers was hit a few plays before the scoring pass, but stayed in the game long enough to connect with Jennings.

Very bad news for Green Bay AS Rodgers definitely found his spot in the offense, hopefully its something that a week of rest can quickly heal up not only cause hes Farves replacement and i want to rub it in Farves face but im a big fan.

Wow, not many NFL fans here.. Last updated in September.. I guess I'll post the top teams in each conference.

AFC:

1. Tennessee Titans [11-1]
2. Pittsburgh Steelers [9-3]
3. New York Jets [8-4]
4. Denver Broncos [7-5]
5. Indianapolis Colts [8-4]
6. Baltimore Ravens [8-4]
7. New England Patriots [7-5]
8. Miami Dophins [7-5]
9. Buffalo Bills [6-6]

NFC:

1. New York Giants [11-1]
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers [9-3]
3. Minnesota Vikings [7-5]
4. Arizona Cardinals [7-5]
5. Carolina Panthers [9-3]
6. Atlanta Falcons [8-4]
7. Dallas Cowboys [8-4]
8. Washington Redskins [7-5]
9. Philadelphia Eagles [6-5-1]
10. Chicago Bears [6-6]
11. New Orleans Saints [6-6]
12. Green Bay Packers [5-7]

I could've posted every team's record, but in my eyes - these are the only teams with a chance to make the playoffs. [Top 6 teams in each conference make the playoffs]...

I'm hoping my Dallas Cowboys make it.. We have Pittsburgh this Sunday, then the Giants, Ravens, and Eagles. People doubt they will do it, but I know they will.
