lol you beat me to it. Unfortunately my immediate interest in the contest has curtailed since Greece bowed out early on Saturday... Still cool to see a lot of underdogs make it through and the powerhouses struggle or even get eliminated. To me there's no clear favorite yet. Turkey could take it for all we know.

Should be an interesting rest of the tournament.

Last nights match was great and what a finish from Nihat for the last goal and Cech last night in my opinion was terrible in goal he was at fault for the Second as wasnt to great for the whole match

As for winning the tournament i see Spain or Holland winning but with the way Holland are playing i think they have a better chance of doing it

The amount of unbelievably bad offside calls during this tournament has been shocking, yet UEFA/FIFA will still come out and praise the officiating at the championships a big success. The offside rule should be scrapped if it's getting this hard for linesmen to judge on or off. :closedeyes:

Italy VS France will not go to Penalty Shoot-out

Italy and France will not face a penalty shoot-out on Tuesday no matter what the results are in the final games in Group C, Uefa has confirmed.
The European football governing body had suggested a shoot-out could be used to determine which of the two teams finishes bottom of the group.
But a Uefa official attempted to clear up the confusion over the matter.
"There is no way that France and Italy can go to a penalty shoot-out," a spokesman told BBC Sport.
The Netherlands have already secured top spot in the group but the other three teams in the so-called 'Group of Death' are still battling to clinch the other quarter-final berth.
A Romania victory would ensure their passage through to the knockout stages and effectively render the France-Italy game meaningless.
But on Monday it was claimed that should Romania go through and France and Italy draw then their group positions would be determined by a shoot-out.
However, Uefa has clarified that a penalty shoot-out would only be used to determine which team qualifies when two sides finish level on points and cannot be separated by goals scored.
Here is the official Uefa regulation: "If two teams which have the same number of points, the same number of goals scored and conceded, play their last group match against each other and are still equal at the end of that match, the ranking of the two teams in question will be determined by kicks from the penalty mark, provided no other teams within the group have the same number of points on completion of all group matches."

Shit i was looking forward to this match hoping it would go to a penalty shoot-out it adds drama to a game and you have something to look forward to at the end of the match Penalty Shoot-outs are great well there not if your an England fan but there still great to watch

Holland are ripping the shit out the tournament and just hope they wont choke later on like they usually do along with Spain.

Yeah the decision in the Italy Holland match was horrible Van Nistelrooy was a mile offside and the player wasnt interfering in play he was lying of the pitch the pitch injured i still dont see how that goal was given

But Yeah i still see Holland winning this but as Dale said i hope they dont choke like the usually do

Yeah if i was to pick an "Underdog" it would be Croatia they look to be the better team them some left in the tournament personally i think Holland will win i can see it being a Holland Spain Semi Final with Holland winning and then a Croatia Holland final with Holland being the winners that the way i think it will go
