WWE Champion CM Punk and Hardcore Legend Mick Foley have gone back and forth about the ideals of respect and tradition. Well, now CM Punk has another opportunity to use one of WWE's richest traditions to gain the respect he feels he deserves as he captains a team consisting of The Rhodes Scholars, The Miz, and Alberto Del Rio against Foley's team of Team Hell No, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, and the ever-ravenous Ryback at Survivor Series. With the anniversary of his WWE Title win inching closer week by week, what will CM Punk do to ensure his team is the one left standing at WWE's fall classic? And will Mick Foley be able to forge a united team in time with so many combustible elements?

Didn't bother with Smackdown and I doubt I will bother with WWE in general for a while. I think i'll watch the PPV for definite, see what people on here think of each show; if there's an amazing show I'll get back into it. Otherwise I need a break for a month or two.

It kind of reeks of creative incompetence when they change two of the main events of their big PPV a week after they make it. And I was really looking forward to Cena/Ziggler too.

Yeah i agree especially about Ziggle vs Cena. But maybe we get some more great mic work from Foley and Ziggler like last year. i wanted to see those guys feud so badly.

This also makes me think they will have Punk the title right at the 364 day mark which is just annoying to me.

I still don't understand why they changed it, and why, because the internet didn't like it? NOW they decide to listen to us? I actually thought it was pretty clever to keep Punk in a non-title match and even though that elimination match was just a bunch of feuds thrown together they could have made something interesting of it with Foley there, and Team Hell No is always amazing. I just don't see how they can end the main event cleanly, Punk going over Ryback AND Cena? Maybe they're trying to surprise us so they can stick with his reign until The Rock shows up but it just seems weird.

I do like what they're doing with Maddox though, my guess is that someone interferes and he gets his contract with a win by DQ or something and they Zack Gowen him against Vince.
