The Devil's In the Details

The table was set for the ever-ravenous Ryback. Locked inside the confines of Hell in a Cell with the WWE Champion CM Punk, there seemed to be nothing standing between him and satisfying his hunger by devouring CM Punk and becoming the WWE Champion. And indeed, the Cell prohibited any outside interference and remained sealed for the duration of the match...but Ryback hadn't counted on the referee stopping him from Shell Shocking Punk and getting low-blowed by the WWE official, leading to him being pinned by Punk and suffering his first loss since emerging onto the scene in April. CM Punk survived the onslaught of the Mental Machine and became the WWE Champion...but the means may only serve to justify his end, as Ryback made it clear at the close of the pay-per-view that he isn't ready to let Punk out of his sights.

The only championship that changed hands at Hell in a Cell was the World Heavyweight Championship, and it was indeed the Big Show who managed to wrest it from the grasp of Sheamus (though not without considerable effort and two WMDs). Now that the World's Largest Athlete has secured an iron grasp on the World Title, who in the world can stand against him and take it away? And how will Sheamus respond?

Didn't catch HIAC yet, that ending sounds like it could have been annoying but Ryback decimating people saved it. I'm guessing they'll do a rematch with Cena at Survivor Series triple threat so Punk can weasel out out again and break Cena's record in December.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.
