WWE taped this week’s WWE Smackdown tonight from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Here are the results.

Dark Match:

* Dean Ambrose won a dark match.

WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday)

* Eve Torres opens up SmackDown on behalf of John Laurinaitis. Alberto Del Rio interrupts and wants a World Heavyweight Title shot against Sheamus at No Way Out. This brings out Kane and Randy Orton, who also want title shots. Eve announces a three-way for later tonight to determine a new #1 contender.

* WWE Intercontinental champion Christian defeated Hunico.

* Titus O'Neil and Darren Young beat The Usos.

* Cody Rhodes cuts a promo and says he will get his Intercontinental Title back from Christian.

* Ryback comes out with a black eye and squashes two local wrestlers.

* A vignette airs that says Sin Cara will return next week.

* WWE United States champion Santino Marella defeated Ricardo Rodriguez.

* World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus comes out and talks about John Laurinaitis and what happened on RAW. It sounds like he's going to apologize but he doesn't.

* Sheamus defeated Jack Swagger with the Brogue Kick.

*Damien Sandow defeated Yoshi Tatsu with the neckbreaker.

* Big Show comes out and takes a seat in the ring. He feels betrayed by everyone and talks about John Laurinaitis re-hiring him. Show says he doesn't care about what anyone thinks because he doesn't care about the fans.

* Kane comes out for the three-way main event but Daniel Bryan attacks him with a chair and they brawl.

* Alberto Del Rio beat Kane and Randy Orton in a three-way to become the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title. Bryan distracted Kane again which led to him getting a RKO. Del Rio broke the pin up and stole the victory from Orton to win. Sheamus came out and hit a Brogue Kick on Del Rio to end the show.

Santino vs. RR is going to be amazing. Shut your face.

Otherwise, ya. Curious to see what they're doing with Kane and Bryan. I like ADR being the number one contender though. Otherwise pretty shitty looking show.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

It was obvious last week ADR would be the number one contender seeing as Orton/Jericho are now feuding. On paper show doesn't look great but sometimes these things can come off well on TV.
I don't really get why Big Show suddenly hates the fan after crying saying he will miss the smiles on those kids faces. This whole Show storyline is stupid and to be honest I don't see Cena/Show as a main event that will gain my interest in any way shape or form.

In all honesty Show is better as a heel and he's had some decent matches with Cena, but the actual turn makes zero sense and Cena pointed it out in his shitty promo Monday. But that's WWE logic for you. Suddenly if you wear suits and interfere in one match you're the biggest villain since Sgt. Slaughter became an Iraqi sympathizer.

Yeah i agree it makes no sense how Big show is acting and come to think of it it could have never made sense because if Big Johnny would have lost  Triple H could have rehired big show back the next night. so even the reluctant heel wouldn't have made sense. but i guess they just needed some way to make johnny win though he could have always fired all of his goons and re hired them the next night on Raw.

Or they could have just brought back an old wrestler for one night or even a manager type who is not on the roster. The Cena storylines have been all over the show lately, firstly we have The Rock feud, then a Brock one and now a Johnny/Show one. It would be better just feuding him with someone and putting them over somewhat or even entering the title picture the way Orton did where he doesn't win the title but adds something to the main event. Cena is their top draw but the last time they feuded him with someone to put them over was The Miz.

It actually really annoyed me that it was the main event. I guess you couldn't put Bryan/Orton because of the wishy washy finish, but the fatal fourway had sufficient build. In what world is a Cena/Johnny match a PPV main event?

Damien Sandow was hilarious on this episode, this guy is awesome and I hope he gets a serious push, proper golden promo and been like that week after week. I think Hunico is pretty good in the ring, just think he sucks on the mic, I was getting into the Christian match and then it just ended, a shame really but I find that with all non PPV matches now. Aside from that, the show was average and as usual, predictable. Ryback squash, Young/O'Neill winning, Main event created at the start of the night, Santino winning, Sheamus winning, can't they mix it up once in a while, and I don't mean in a predictable mixing it up way, its become so black and white and predictable on Smackdown.

I don't find Sandow's promos that funny but what he did in the ring shouting for the referee then the cartwheel at the end were hilarious. He seems to be pretty good in the ring too.

I'm not sure i find sandow funny but i do find him entertaining and he's getting good crowed reaction too. the cartwheels was also a nice little touch at the end.

Ryback's double whateverthehellthatmoveiscalled was pretty awesome too.

The rest was just kind of meh. Really wish they would have Cesaro on the show and push him too. but i guess there are only so many new guys you can push at once but why even bring him up to the main roster if he's just going to work on superstars?

I agree, I'd rather see the Cesaro story develop over the RR/Santino rolling their R's off their tongue feud ¬_¬

The WWE could save so much time by just grouping guys like Cesaro, McIntyre, Hunico etc in a stable and they could also be very threatening in numbers. Like Right to Censor... but good!
