*OFFICIAL* Raw Discussion Thread: 28th November 2011
« on: 28 November 2011, 02:31:53 PM »

Confirmed:
Monday Night Raw to kick off with John Cena on Piper's Pit.
WWE Championship Rematch between Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk.

Expected:
The Miz to talk about why he attacked R-Truth last week.
More from Kevin Nash.

Possible:
Will Brodus Clay finally re-début on Raw? And if so, does anyone even care after all this delaying?
Another video hyping Kane.
Are the rumours true and John Morrison will have his last WWE match?

I don't understand why they keep delaying Brodus. What good could possibly come from this?

As for nash, I missed his promo last week. What did he say?

Looking forward to Piper's Pit.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

Piper is Raw, I wonder what he might say.Brodus possible debut meh, I don't think he worth a debut vid, as he is not good enough to be a major star in the WWE, but in the management eyes he is.Hope they fail with Clay as well.Video of Kane could be a great watch, and tell us if he's returning with the mask or not.Possible vid involving Taker or Y2J as well.Morrison possible last match, heard he might get squashed against Clay, who knows? Punk vs Del Rio could be a classic, I wonder if they can match the quality of the match from Surivivor Series tonight?

Exactly what I have been wondering too.

As for nash, I missed his promo last week. What did he say?
He talked about his past at MSG including the Curtain Call incident, and says that instead of finding a friend when he came back a few months ago, he instead found a boss. He also said that it should have been him and Triple H going against The Rock and John Cena at Survivor Series, but that now after what he did to Triple H, he is the only survivor of the group.

ZIGGLER BEAT AND PINNED RANDY ORTON!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna miss John Morrison. could have been such a huge star if they used him right. its a shame this will likely be his last time in a WWE ring. only appropriate that he go out to the miz though. he looked bad ass in that segment. the miz i have been wanting to see.

Ryder over Swagger was meh but another win for Ryder is good.

Piper these days just doesn't work. i got what they wanted to do there but it just didn't work. at least for me.

No Brodus again is no shock. i don't get why they are delaying it so much. maybe brodus will kill johnny ace for lying to him and holding him back, i dunno.

Punk vs Del Rio was good. didn't love the ending.

Danile Bryan stuff was really good.

all and all a good raw.

Decent show from what I saw. Dolph getting the win over Orton is huge for him. I know he's technically been world champ before, but this is the start of his big push IMO. Potential Rumble winner?

I actually dug the opener with Piper and Cena. Making the boos into a storyline felt a little forced but it's about time they addressed it. Wonder how they're going to deal with it.

Ryder gets another win.

I also kind of liked the end of the title match, Punk outsmarted him. Although he could have just beaten him cleanly.

How many weeks til TCL? They have like nothing set up lol

Anyone else think Brodus Clay might come back to feud with Punk? If not we might have Punk/Miz.
Sad for Morrison to go, I was hoping he would fight back and beat Miz. Honesty couldn't care about Miz, he looks like a nerdy teenager as opposed to a wrestler. When they did the close up he just looked ridiculous as opposed to intimidating. At least he doesn't wear pyjamas now.

Ziggler's win was good (Y) They are building him up to be a major star which is great. Main event match was good, both those guys are great in the ring.

The promo with Michael Cole and Daniel Bryan was hilarious and I liked how they built the Henry match, although I felt the kick was a bit crummy at the end but aside from that the segment was one of the best I've seen in some time. I quite liked Piper's Pit but every time I see Piper he looks like he suffers from Dementia or Alzheimer's. Ziggler beating Orton was awesome, I can't remember whether it was this RAW or the Smackdown the week before but Ziggler dramatised a move to the point where it looked painful although it was hilarious at the same time. I love Ziggler though and really hope he gets a push but feel there's a lot of people getting held back at the moment that could step up and hold the belt. I agree with the Miz, I don't think this badass hard man gimmick works for him, he just doesn't have the look to take it seriously. He's hardly built, and he looks like a Raider off of Fallout. I honestly think that without the massive support from the WWE the guy is pretty average all round. I'm hoping the Punk/Del Rio feud is over and Punk will feud with either Barrett or Ziggler, I doubt it will be Barrett though. I just want some fresh title scene's as I feel there's about 4 or 5 guys (Barrett, Ziggler, Sheamus, Bryan, Rhodes) who should be in the main event and being held back from getting that deserved breakthrough and likely won't get their shots until some more people have retired or on the injured list.
