This pretty much sums up RAW`s opening segment:

Didn't like Raw too much tonight, and it wasn't sue to lack of good matches.

It seemed like any thing they set up last week was forgotten and didn't matter like the ADR/Kofi feud.
Kofi and ADR both pretty much jobbed, both matches were good but there feud they had going didn't matter at all.

Morrison vs Truth was good but Morrison just cleanly loses to Truth, so morrison the face here cleanly loses a week before the PPV so that more than likely means this feud is over and Truth the heel outright wins it. also this makes 4 straight losses for morrison since returning. no point in having this on Raw. this be be on the PPV since it actually has a lot of build and Morriosn should win or Truth win via dirty tactic to prolong it.

Miz taking Rey out is interesting, and Miz on the mic talking about how he doesn't have a SSS match was good but guess what...he still doesn't. and no one else has one either besides Punk vs Cena on Raw.

1 feud that was continued was Ziggler/Riley. i just don't get this Riley push or why anyone likes him he looks like a 45 year old man who is generic and tells bad jokes and has nothing special about him in the ring. the end of the match was pretty lame too with Vickie just getting dolph DQed reminded me of RVD vs Crimson from TNAs PPv the other night.

Oh yeah and the forgotten squash match with Cena over Swagger wasn't bad.

No Zack Ryder, No tag champs. thats ok they will probably be on SD this week. No evan bourne but no real place for him in what they were doing so thats ok. just wish he could get a consistent push.

I skipped the diva match but like beth on the mic after ir. then Kellys hit and run just made her look weak.

Liked a couple of backstage segments too. Punk one was good, and so was the R-Truth one.

The contract signing stuff was good, Triple H is so annoying in there though he doesn't need to be the Ref and doesn't need to be out there, neither does Johnny Ace. i liked the back and forth between Punk and Cena. What Cena said about if Punk loses its pretty much is it for him is true too. they pretty much said if we don't book punk to win this is a big waste and a fail.

But like i said the problem with this raw was it didn't get anything done towards building the undercard for the PPV. I guess it helped Riley vs Ziggler but that hasn't even been announced. Truth vs Morrison is wasted on TV in baffling booking. Miz Takes out Rey but still has nothing for SS. ADR and kofi have a feud going that gets killed and no one seems to care so they get nothing for SS either.

The diva’s match was actually watchable this week. Beth Phoenix did great and we know it’s not easy to make Eve look good. It was just a shame Kelly Kelly had to stand tall over Beth especially when Beth Phoenix was getting such a good reaction.

Opening segment was boring. Cena and Swagger had a good match as always (both work well in the ring together.) Punk vs Del Rio was good. The whole bit with The Miz was where I tuned out as usual, he just bores the fuck out of me to be honest and everytime he appears I find myself taken out of the show. I just don't find his jokes funny, he is like a wannabee, lame, watered down Jericho and he is a one trick pony with his attitude just relying on the whole "Really" thing. The problem is he doesn't strike me as a threatening villain, more just a stupid teenager from a reality tv show. I think if he was better in the ring I'd like him a lot more. Another thing that pisses me off is how much Cole bangs on about him but that isn't his fault.

I liked the Riley/Ziggler stuff, I do think Riley should turn heel after a while though as he is a great heel. I wish both were given time for an actual match as both are very capable in the ring.
There seemed to be too much time flashing back on things. Love Truth's backstage promo, honestly one of the best parts of the show.

I feel bad for Morrison as he keeps losing but to be honest Truth is the better of the two. Both were great in ring workers with stale gimmicks, one changed his gimmick to an incredible one and the other has stuck with the same rubbish gimmick and the same shitty entrance music. Other than ring skills the only thing going for Morrison is his look (looks cool) but beneath that is a guy who can't talk on the mic. Honestly think he would have had more success staying heel. I mean did you hear him say"You tried to end my career" sounded so pathetic. Good match mind.

End was same old really. Punk was very good as always, Cena was ok but he gets way too sensitive each time The Rock disses him. The Rock's diss was actually quite funny but at the same time he is as sensitive as Cena, he just masks his sensitivity and jealousy better because he's good at talking trash.

I don't get the hate for Riley. I actually like him. That said he doesn't deserve to be in a feud when 95% of the card isn't. And watching Vickie was painful this week, I'm fucking sick of her.

And Morrison is awesome. He's great and innovative in the ring, he has a good gimmick and he's actually extremely over. Who cares if his mic skills aren't up to par? Not everyone is good at that and that's why they usually have mouthpieces. Morrison's getting buried because Trips doesn't respect him. It's pretty much as simple as that. Losing four matches in a row is fucking retarded.

A couple of good matches on the show but overall boring and forgettable. The closing segment was great, love that they're using Johnny Ace, he's a heat magnet.Triple H doesn't need to meddle in all this but whatever.

Horrible raw considering there's a huge PPV 5 days away.

Yeah I have said Morrison losing so much is bullshit and Triple H is being an immature, stubborn dick but when it comes to Truth/Morrison I would still rather see Truth get the push.

Morrison needs to go to SD and he needs to tighten up his gimmick.

Oh and Swagger and Drew need to team up and win the tag titles to rebuild their careers O0

This show definitely felt flat, it did have some good moments though.

I was incredibly bored with the Triple H promo at the start, I shut off in fact and only realised later on that he put himself in the match as the referee. Why? Why does Triple H need to be involved in this match, what is that going to exactly do. We now know its just going to lead to a stupid ending of some sorts. This feud has been great, but I feel that this was a step back. I'm pretty sure john said that he wouldn't be surprised to see HHH walk out champion, I'm kind of getting that vibe right now. I just hope with Punks new gimmick he picks up on HHH's plan and thwarts it and we get an even match.

Cena Swagger i didn't really pay much attention, I think I was so bored with HHH it carried over into this match, can't understand why Swagger is so underused, the guy has charisma, a presence in the ring and can pull off good matches. From what I saw it seemed fairly decent, but it was a bit of a squash.

In fact, most of the matches were good on this show, but the people that lost them were unnecessarily buried. Even Del Rio got buried and he should be pushed as a threat seeing as he holds the bloody MitB briefcase.

The only good things I really remember from this show were Christians brief promo, Cena and Punk going at it on the mic, and R-Truth backstage. I also found Cole calling JR out on mentioning something as old, then JR's best comeback was saying that Cole was young and vibrant, seemed like more of a praise then a comeback lol.

Overall, a disappointing show and I feel the COO needs to stop hogging the limelight and realise his time in the spotlight is over.

You seriously didn't get the sarcasm he was using there?

Morrison is FAR better than Truth in the ring, and really before this heel turn and new gimmick they gave truth he was about as bland and boring as they get, Morriosns gimmick isn't bad he just lacks mic skills or more a way to use his mic skills i liked when he first became john Morrison on ECW i thought his mic work was pretty good there. I think the biggest issue with him right now is he's being jobbed out and not looking legit, i remember last year just before Mania between Survivor Series and Mania really he was looking great and looking like a legit main event star. then came Mania and apparently he hurt Trishes feelings. and got injured and now Triple H is in charge and doesn't like him which seems to be more about Melina than anything.

As for Swagger and Drew both were on Smackdown just last year and it did there careers no good there either. Swagger was champ and after MITB he was just jobbed out to where he could even make SD. Drew had all the momentum in the world and after MITB they threw him together with Cody Rhodes and then after they lost the titles they jobbed him out to where he couldn't even make SD either. so i don't know what's really going to help them at this point. I do like both guys though, Swagger has kind of cooled for me though while the last few times i seen Drew he's grown on me more and more.

Where to start last night OMG their was a watchable Divas match instead of a worthless six man tag or battle royal.SMASH NO EYES KELLY BETH!Miz vs Mysterio could be great to watch at SS.Match of the night contender.Kofi vs the Miz should of been longer.Riley vs Ziggler will be better.Did anyone notice that they was a lack of reaction for Riley and I thought it would be louder especially after feuding with Miz.Morrison vs Truth as a whole was disappointing. When I looked at the card it could,of been,aPPV night.Del Rio vs Punk is WM quality but Punk cleanly won.At the end Punk looked awesome as he torn apart Cena, Hunter and Ace.Rocky doing that segment on Cena helping Punk made him look even better.Cena will truely get why Punk gets some many cheers.Did anyone see HIRE KINGS OF WRESTLING SIGN? Anyone sign that shocked me CM PUNK=Attitude Era.

BTW that move Morrison did over the turnbuckle made me cringe multiple times, even during the replay. Then getting his fucking spine nearly caved it on the outside when Truth tripped him. Just that kind of stuff alone should prove why Morrison is worthy. The guy pays his dues, and he can take a bump better and more realistically than anyone I've ever seen. Every move he does you wonder where he's going to break his neck doing it. He's better at taking bumps and high risk than Jeff Hardy ever was, and i'm pretty sure he's not drugged up either. If Jeff can be a world champ in WWE, Morrison can too.

Some bad news for Prax

Quote
- Vince McMahon reportedly does not want John Laurinaitis to have a speaking role on WWE TV anymore as he feels Laurinaitis can't cut a good promo.

I agree with vince that he's not good on the mic, and i don't really get why he's been on WWE TV other than for punk to take some shots at him.

He's fine on the mic, he just has that raspy voice. I think it would be hilarious if he was just a punching bag out there for people every week.

I still stand by what I said. If Morrison is to become a champion (which I'm not denying as he is good in the ring and over with the fans) he would need to tighten up his gimmick. Its the kind of thing where people want to see him win the title because they know it's unlikely but when he does it will be a massive flop.
I agree they need to book him better.

But still Truth is just the better package out of the two and that is solely because he took the initiative to spice his gimmick when he realised it wasn't getting him anywhere. I mean the promo work Truth has done recently is up there and before everybody began wetting their knickers over Punk he was the best part of the show.

I've always supported Morrison on here for in ring ability but I stand by the fact he needs to tighten up his gimmick and perhaps change his ring music. Just needs to freshen up something that has become quite stale and the perfect time to do that would have been on his return but instead Triple H chooses to be a dick and job him.
