Results Courtesy of PWInsider.com:

At the start of the show they had a graphic announcing that Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, and R Truth will be in a Number One Contender Match for the WWE Title at Money in the Bank. They also announced Alex Riley versus Miz.

John Cena comes out for a promo and he mentions that CM Punk has been stripped of his right to challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship in Chicago. He mentions that is why they are going to do the Triple Threat Match to determine a new number one contender. He also says that they are going to treat things as if CM Punk never existed in WWE.

Cena says that he is not happy with the decision and he believes that Punk was saying what he believes in, but he does not agree with Punk. He does agree with Punk’s right to say what he did. Cena says that he wants answers from Vince McMahon and he wants those answers tonight.

John Cena says that he wants to face CM Punk at Money in the Bank.

Match Number One: Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres defeat the Bellas when Kelly pinned one of the Bellas.

R Truth is interviewed in the back by Scott Stanford and Truth says that he already beat John Cena so he shouldn’t have to win a Triple Threat Match tonight to face Cena at Money in the Bank. Truth talks about how there is a conspiracy.

Truth bumps into Alberto Del Rio and Del Rio tells Truth that it is his destiny.

Match Number Two: WWE Tag Team Champions Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga defeated Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella when McGillicutty pinned Santino after a neck breaker.

After the match, while everyone was still in the ring, Zack Ryder came out onto the stage and said ‘Woo woo woo you know it’ and left.

Miz was interviewed by Scott Stanford in the back and Miz says that he should be in the number one contender’s match tonight. Miz says that he isn’t in that match because of Alex Riley. Miz says that he brought Riley on Raw and he is going to take him out tonight.

Match Number Three: Jack Swagger over Sergeant Slaughter with the Swagger Bomb. After the match, Swagger puts Slaughter in the ankle lock until Evan Bourne comes to the ring to make the save.

Slaughter leads the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Match Number Four: Alberto Del Rio defeats Rey Mysterio and R Truth with a cross arm breaker on Mysterio to become the new number one contender for the WWE Championship.

Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler are having a Fourth of July party in the ring since he is the United States Champion. Vickie wants everyone to sing Happy Birthday to Dolph but they don’t so Vickie sings to Dolph.

Dolph says that he is the best superstar and he is in his prime. Dolph says that as long as he is the United States Champion, it is the only title that matters.

Kofi Kingston comes out to the ring and he says that without Vickie in his corner, Dolph cannot beat him. Dolph tells Kofi that he is at a higher level than Kofi and that Kofi should leave his party. Vickie gets pushed into the birthday cake and then Kofi and Dolph brawl.

Match Number Five: Alex Riley beats Miz with a backslide.

After the match, Miz destroyed Riley, breaking the barricade and then he dropped the ring steps on Riley.

Vince McMahon comes out and he says that CM Punk deserved his suspension and he talks about how Punk wanted too much money for his new contract. Vince says that he is standing by his decision to suspend Punk.

John Cena comes out and he says that Vince loves freedom of speech and he still wants to face CM Punk. Cena says that if Vince doesn’t feel like fighting then he should hang it up.

Vince says that he really suspended Punk because he doesn’t want Punk to leave with the title. Cena made fun of Vince being afraid to let Punk wrestle. Cena talks about the match and then Vince tells Cena not to piss him off and not to be like Hogan.

Cena tells Vince to give the people what they want. Vince says that he doesn’t give a damn what the people want. Cena gives Vince a speech and then gives Vince the WWE Championship and walks out.

Vince tells Cena to wait and he meets him on the ramp. Vince says that CM Punk is reinstated and Cena has his match at Money in the Bank with CM Punk. Vince tells Cena that if Punk walks out of Chicago with the title then John Cena is fired.

This was the end of the taping.

There was no mention about Del Rio’s title shot after the closing segment.

That concluded the taping.

Will update with better results if I find any. Looks like a great show. Can't believe how far they're taking this Punk stuff. When I read that Cena gave Vince the title I got this funny feeling at the pit of my stomach as if something big was going to happen... I guess not but still, great show. Seems weird that they would actually go through with a number one contender's match just to give the show back to punk an hour later, but anyway.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

Zack Ryder coming out saying "Woo Woo Woo You Know It"  for no apparent reason could be awesome! and a start to something great for him.

The Vince/Punk/Cena stuff sounds awesome.

Del Rio winning just means he will get the shot at Summer Slam so he probably won't win at MITB.

I hate the "If Cena loses, he's fired" stipulation...every match that is added to Cena wins pretty easily.  Now, they could be going for the ultimate swerve here with Cena taking some time off because of nagging injuries and Punk sticks around.  Also, it would be pretty sweet if Punk won and left, Cena was "fired" as well and had to go to ROH to get back the belt like a bunch of you have been asking for.  I still think thats pretty unlikely....I'd also like to see this set up into a CM Punk vs. Vince McMahon match at Summerslam, but at his age Vince shouldn't get in the ring again as Wrestlemania 26 proved.

That's what I was thinking once the stipulation was brought up.....  I can only hope Cena has a couple shitty movies that need his undivided attention for a couple months before the RAW GM rehires him and then reveals herself as Stephanie just to piss off daddy dearest.

Odds are Cena is going to win the match then Face ADR at Summer Slam. and Punk leaves like has been expected. but the other route just sounds so much better so much fresher and so much funner. and who knows with the way things are going this could go a different way and be great.

Of course Punk could win and someone cash in MITB and beat him. Cena then get's fired and punks gone and we have a new Champion to face Del Rio at SS without having Cena vs Del Rio which they could hold off until later and build it up more.

But like i said odds are Cena wins and Faces Del Rio at SS and Punk just leaves and may or may not ever be back.

I don't see them taking Cena off the card for their second biggest PPV of the year especially when they're building towards Cena vs. Rock, so the only way he loses is if he gets rehired in the few weeks after MITB. In that case I can see him losing, ADR winning MITB (using getting screwed out of a title shot as momentum) and cashing in on Punk that same night, Cena chases til Summerslam and wins the belt back.

As much as I'd love for this all to pan out as we hope, let's not kid ourselves here, this is still WWE and Vince McMahon we're talking about.

Bump.

Just a PSA that RAW is filmed tonight so there shouldn't be any surprises, but I'm anxious to see how the whole Vince/Cena stuff turns out, otherwise, meh.

I didn't bother with most of it but both Cena segments were epic, on par with last week. Got goosebumps during his promo with Vince/.

Isn't Vince perfectly aware of who the GM is though? When he announced it originally, he was talking to them on the phone backstage about how he doesn't like surprises, after they decided to make him the Special Guest Referee for the Main Event that night on Raw.

They could of course completely ignore this, but I don't think I've seen any indication that Vince has no idea who the Anonymous Raw General Manager is.

Unless you meant the rehiring would be the part that would piss him off, not her revealing herself as the GM - in which case, my mistake.

I quite enjoyed this episode of Raw, especially with the mentions of Danielson's firing last year and the sign confiscations when he was talking about how far the WWE would take it. I think it made it feel more real, though it was obviously nothing compared to CM Punk's promo last week.

I worded it wrong.....  What you said, with Vince knowing his daughter was pulling the strings all along.

But another thought came to my head while thinking about this ordeal.  Vince could have left the choice of the new GM up to Stephanie, trusting she hired someone worthy and capable of the job.  She could return and say Cena is reinstated, leaving Vince pissed off that her pick for GM would undermine his decision to fire him.  Then Stephanie could claim this RAW GM job was always the job for a McMahon.... therefor giving herself the job and revealing she was in control from day one.  I guess we can only assume as fans that she would be the type of GM that can't be fired, even by Vince.
