Former TNA Knockout Daffney via Twitter:

“Yesterday my picture was taken down off of the TNA roster page. My contract expires today and TNA did not renew it. I do not know if it has anything to do with it, but I’ve filed a Workers Comp claim against them for injuries I’ve sustained in the ring and my lawyers said to not go into anymore details.”

This girl is not going down without a fight. But good for her she was treated badly by TNA after her injury.

I don't think it's fair for us to bash TNA here (believe it or not I'm actually saying this) without knowing the details, but it does sound like pretty horrible timing for someone to be suing TNA for a grievance while they were injured/incapable of working :P

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

This is stupid, what if they just didn't want to use Daffney...

I like her a lot but i agree this is kind of stupid.

Funny thing is i think she was in one of the highest rated segments of Impact of all time and they never used her really.lol.

The law firm that is representing Daffney in the upcoming suit against the company, is “getting its ducks in a row” on this case that looks like its going to really cause TNA some problems beyond what they originally believed. The firm is already actively seeking possible witness’s and folks willing to give depositions on their experiences on dealings with the company. People that are currently working at TNA and some “former” employees as well. I for one am excited about this!!!!

Daffney to end TNA  :2funny:

Apparently this isn't uncommon and Terry Taylor has fobbed off a few wrestlers with excuses when they have been injured in order that TNA don't have to pay them. It also annoys me that the Knockout Division (which is one of the things TNA did well) has basically died since Scott D'Amore left TNA
