I'm rooting for Shogun as he won the last fight imo. Kimbo to smash Mittrione's fucking face in and Daley / Koscheck should be a good fight too, with me obviously rooting for Daley

I'm rooting for Koscheck , love that guy and should be a future champion. Am I the only one who thinks the reason why he hasn't gotten a title shot yet is because they're protecting him from GSP?

I have a bad feeling that Shogun/Machida will be a carbon copy of their first fight, but I hope Machida decides to actually puts some offense in. I don't think White is going to tolerate defensive strategies much longer.

Can't wait to see Kimbo on PPV.

Wish I was going, my buddy at work scored free tickets, he's a fucking lucky bastard.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

Machida said that this fight is going to be more exciting so maybe hes coming into this fight with a different game plan? Rua already fought him so he might know some of the holes in Machida's defensive moves. I see Rua coming out on top.
I also see Koscheck coming out the winner and finally getting his title shot. He improves with each fight and might be the only guy who can match GSP's wrestling.
Im really hoping that Slice fucks up Mitrione, dude took out Marcus Jones and made him retire which sucks cause The Darkness was awesome. Plus its pretty cool to see Slice keep evolving into a legit MMA fighter.

Koshcheck vs. Daley officially for a shot at GSP.

Also, I think GSP is doing commentary but I'm not sure if it will only be in French (taking Patrick Cot

The best was GSP sitting ring side at UFC 112 and winking at Joe Rogan and Goldberg when they crowd started chanting GSP and they mentioned a possible superfighter between Silva and GSP.

Koshcheck vs GSP... This second match should be interesting. It should be nothing but textbook wrestling.

Btw, what Daley did at the end of the fight was classless. I used to have a lot of respect for Daley and now none for him. Also. before anyone says ANYTHING about what Koscheck did at the end of the fight don't be so quick, Kos was boo'd at the start and "FUCK YOU KOSCHECK" was chanted at least once.

TAG TEAM EXCELLENCE!

The only thing that I didn't like about the Koscheck/Daley fight is that Koscheck knew he had it won in the 3rd and just played it safe a la GSP for the final round. Obviously he said something to Daley to set him off and punch him after the bell, but that's no excuse for a pro. I love Koscheck but he's a douche, embellishing on the attempted knee and then obviously saying something to provoke Daley.

As for what he said to the crowd, it's fair game but he could have gone without saying it, it's kind of funny that he told everyone where he would be after the fight, seeing as Club Seven is in a pretty bad part of town and I wouldn't be surprised if he made the headlines tomorrow morning, if you know what I mean :lol

I was pretty pissed that Kimbo lost that faggot cocky piece of shit Mitrione, but that's what happens when you have a glaring weakness in your game. I'm afraid one more fight like that and Kimbo's done, especially with those bad knees. Credit to mitrione for exposing the weakness. But like I said, one more fight where the opponent targets Kimbo's legs and he's done, Dana won't keep him around if he can't win.

Fight of the night was Stout vs. Stephens for sure, and it honestly could have gone either way IMO.

Although I don't hate Machida, it was pretty awesome that Shogun knocked him out the way he did. I'm curious to see where Shogun goes from here, as I don't think there's really anyone who can compete with him at the light heavyweight level. I smell a Shogun/Silva fight tbh.

Overall great night. I was kind of disappointed that the Koscheck fight went all the way bout the extra stuff around the fight made up for that. Otherwise, some good fights and a title change sends me home happy.

Dissappointed about Daley but it was fucking epic based on the shit that Koscheck pulled with the phantom knee. The fight pretty much sucked with him not wanting to trade with Daley and even though he took him down numerous times, Daley didn't look like he was in trouble tbh.

Shogun / Machida was justice done simply put.

Kimbo looks totally out of depth and looked well and truly gassed after the first round. One trick pony and well and truly exposed.

Stout / Stevens was a good fight, Stevens the deserved winner.

Even so GSP is a much better version of Koscheck. Koscheck didn't try and finish the fight, he wanted to make of fool of Daley and he did. Even if Daley beat Koscheck he would have no chance against GSP.
Plus admit it. GSP and Koscheck as coached is going to be alot more entertaining than GSP/Daley.

I know he didn't try to finish the fight, but I don't think he succeeded in making a fool of Daley, he did that by himself with the after the bell shot. Infact Koscheck made more of a fool of himself because of the faking of the knee. GSP would have murdered Daley without a shadow of a doubt and I think he'll murder Koscheck too.

It matters how Koscheck trains. He should work on his stand up and try to knee GSP on a takedown. Its a hard fight to judge cause GSP has a insane training camp and TUF 12 might hurt that. Plus I like both fighters.

Koscheck might be the most even fight GSP would have had in a long time. Koscheck has come a long way since the last time he fought GSP and he'll take it to him. Koscheck won't be able to keep GSP from taking him down, but he can take him down himself and use his own game against him. It's definitely going to be an interesting fight and TUF 12 is going to make it even more interesting.

And by the way, the knee definitely grazed Koscheck. Obviously he embellished, but does that make it any less illegal? It's as if you try to shoot someone, but they don't arrest you because you missed. Either way it's still attempted murder. Daley made a fool out of himself right then and there because he was obviously trying to hurt Koscheck, and even more of a fool out of himself when he went for the cheapshot after the fight (literally going out of his way).  I can't even blame Koscheck for embellishing, he was fighting for every inch and when he saw that Daley could get DQd or even lose a point, why not try to make a convincing argument for that?

Anyway, here's an article on the whole thing. Obviously both Koscheck and GSP are going to position themselves to try and get the fight in their hometowns, but December in Montreal is going to be impossible unless they try to find another venue. The Canadiens don't even play in the Bell Centre for most of the month as they usually book it for stuff like Cirque du Soleil and kids shows during December and the only other big venue I can think of is the Olympic Stadium, but it's always hard to get things in there. Vegas sounds likely for the fight.

Koscheck using the phantom knee might not be right, but it played a head game with Daley. Between the knee thing and the wrestling he totally threw Daley off his game and what happened at the end was Daley feeling stupid because Kos made him look like a jackass.

Secondly, Koscheck saying what he said is fine. The crowd gave it to him and he gave back, it is fair game.

Finally, Koscheck v. GSP will be a good match-up. When they last fought Kos was focusing on a lot more of his stand up than his wrestling and GSP out wrestled him and Kos knows this. I think he has learned from that mistake and this bout will be a lot different.

TAG TEAM EXCELLENCE!
