Ortiz and Griffin is worth this PPV alone TBH.. It will be a good show and Brock Vs Carwin really wasn't a buying point to me. I mean sure, its Brock. But Carwin? He has had one marquee win and he got dominated that fight and threw 1 punch that landed square and knocked Gonzaga the fuck out. I am still watching this PPV regardless.
Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.
Truthfully, if I do watch I might go to Hooters where there is no cover charge.... Otherwise I might wait and watch it online like I do with almost every card. I'm not trying to dis-credit Carwin... But Gonzaga had him and Carwin threw a nice punch and dropped him. I looked at everyone Carwin has fought and besides Gonzaga there all no names. I think will be Brocks toughest fight due to Carwin's size... But other then that not much else will present problems to Brock.
TBH.... If Brock gets by Carwin we need Velaquez versus Brock...
I'm still to the MMA world so my views might not make much sense, but imo Shogun won that fight and should be the new champion. He had a gameplan, stuck to it and was the better fighter on the night and that was clear as day to see. Whether it was a knockout within the first 10 seconds of the night, or a points victory like it should have been, he should have won. The commentators said throughout the night Shogun won, the crowd knew Shogun was screwed when it was announced.
