Love infamous. I'm missing like 1 or 2 trophies to get the platty but I think i need to replay the game to get them so I've been lazy lol. inFamous 2 is better (not by much but in terms of graphics and mechanics). Definitely check that out when you finish.

Right now I'm on The Amazing Spider-Man. Haven't played much but it's pretty good. Better than Edge of Time but not as good as Shattered Dimensions I think. For a game that's sort of open world it's pretty on rails with its missions and its controls (you hold R2 to web swing and that's it), which is kind of annoying.

Also played a little Starhawk. It was a rental and I didn't feel like giving them 10 bucks to play 2 matches online so I gave it back after a week but its pretty good for what it is. Single-player is basically just kind of a training mode though.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

Only 3 trophies i didn't get on there was getting all the shards and the combos and beating it on hard. those combos are a real bitch but that game is really good.

I've just had a lazy day and played it all day; pretty much completed half the game today and just finished it. I picked up the shards and the stunt trophies, don't know what the big deal was :ace.

Got about 70% trophies on it now, just got to complete it on hard and inFamous, heard the final boss is annoying on that difficulty but I reckon I can whoop his ass, you've just got to let him knacker himself out and dodge, pretty straightforward once you're in the flow of it.

I think the game gets better and better as you play, I didn't really care about the story at first, but come the end it had me hooked, looking forward to where they go with it, I just hope my PS3 has the space to download inFamous 2 without deleting too much :/.

Yeah I will play it, I might play another game or two first though, but its on my to do list. The platform mechanics could be frustrating at times, hope they have worked on that in the second one? I also found the AI were insanely accurate, and the length to regain health without using an electrical box could be frustrating, have they worked on those elements?

One thing I forgot to mention, Thunderstorm has to rank as one of the best weapons on a video game ever

It's been a while but I seem to remember the platforrming and movement being better. They have this thing that's like a tether in the second game to move building to building almost like web swinging. They also added a few variations to the thunderstorm. The hovering is also better. The AI is still ridiculously strong though, sorry :P

Spec ops: The line
(PS3)

My gamefly GameQ has been pretty empty as of late beings that there hasn't been any new releases that has interested me. My cousin recommended Spec ops: The Line so i rented it. i was expecting your basic military shooter....It wasn't your basic military shooter at all. The game actually followed one story and one group of guys and seemed an adventure more than a basic shooter a lot of the time. it reminded me of Battlefield Bad Company 2 which is one of if not my favorite military shooter of all time.

I Loved this game, i thought it was great and i had a blast playing it. also the trophies weren't ridiculously hard which i like because i can't stand playing games where you have to do shit over and over to get a trophy like the cap com games where you have to beat the game on each difficulty settings with a different rank every time. Anyways. Like i said i really liked this game, totally better than i expected coming in and i think this game may end up being the "Shadows of the damned" of 2012. Where it's one of those under the radar games that not many people play but people should play it.

This games does have its flaws though. the controlling can be annoying. like you press the button to get into cover and a lot of the times your guy just won't get into cover. and then while you're in cover sometimes he will pop out in this awkward position and you won't be able to shoot anyone. Also from what i played of the multiplayer it is just plane bad. that's coming from someone who usually loves 3rd person multiplayer games (Red dead redemption, Uncharted, Max Payne 3 , Lost planet) I can't really say why i didn't enjoy it but i can say i just didn't have any fun at all playing the multiplayer. This isn't a flaw but more of a warning. This game can be pretty hard, i played on normal and died a lot. If you're the type of gamer that hates dying in games i would suggest you play on easy.

4/5

Prax, I know you're usually not a millitary shooter guy but i think this one you might enjoy, you should check it out.

Other than that game i played
NCAA13 which i loved but really isn't much different from last years other than a few things. of course my favorite part of those games is recruiting which is extremely addictive

A lot of BF3 multiplayer. I'm at level 47 right now and have sort of lost interest at this point. But i will say BF3 multiplayer can be really really fun once you get used to it. After playing hours and hours of this game and MW3 i really don't think it's fair to compare. these multiplayers are completely different and each are very good. Personally i still think i would chose MW3's multiplayer over this.

A lot of Minecraft. Minecraft is just so addicting and i think it's because you figure well im bored i'llplay minecraft for 20 mins and throw on some music or a podcast while doing so instead of diving into a major story based game. But what ends up happening is you look at the clock and notice you have been playing for like 2 hours. and you always just get one more idea and you want to build one more thing before you leave. Earlier this year when i got the game i said it wasn't worth $20. but now since i put so many hours into it i would say it's $20 well spent. I'm looking forward to the update later this year. Also another thing that will make you even more addicted to minecraft is watching people on youtube play it and seeing their world. there is so much inspiration and things to do you could play this game forever really.

It's actually next on my Game Access (canadian Game Fly) list lol. I'm playing Spider-Man on one of my two slots and I let my GF get Dragon's Dogma for 360 for the other slot but she's giving it back this week because it's too hard (don't worry I laughed at her about it) so I should hopefully be getting it next week.

As for what i'm playing, Amazing Spider-Man's pretty good, kind of on rails considering Beenox opened the world up, but the fighting is a lot better (very Arkham Asylum like), and it's much better than Edge of Time. Definitely recommend as a rental.

Actually Dragon's Dogma is extremely hard and frustrating. i can't blame her at all.

I got Amazing spider-man on the way so it will be up next for me and probably after that I'll be getting Darksiders 2 beings i was a fan of the first Darksiders.

I just went back and finished Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley. I give it a 4/5, the game is ultra fun and witty. Twisted Pixel is really a special video game company, gonna try and beat The Maw next.

That's what was great. I waited a few months and the game felt fun again. Even went back and replayed a few other levels trying to get all the achievements.

The Amazing Spider-Man.

Improvement over Edge of Time, not as good as Shattered Dimensions still. I like that they gave us back an open world feel but it's cheap and sort of on rails. The fighting system is better, but they're still trying to be too much like Arkham Asylum/City. Still, could be a worse game.

6.5 out of 10.

Nah, don't see the point for PS3. Not because it's meant for PC, but because a lot of people on PS3 will be playing with keyboard/mouse and that's not really fair for a guy with a controller.

I did play Papo & Yo, fucking amazing little game, one of the most personal stories I've ever seen in a game. 9.5 out of 10.

Yeah I purchased it a couple days ago, quality game. I kind of wish they had more maps for arms race and demolition mode though, the achievements are gash as well, play 5000 matches :dohw:.

Aside from those gripes, I've had a lot of fun playing it online, kind of makes me wish I had a decent PC to play it on :/

Ive been playing the first Prototype recently. I really don't care for the story but the gameplay is really fun.
