I liked the idea of the two rival gangs, the setting and the corruption and poverty of New York, but I felt like it didn't really focus on these elements as much as it should have. John C Reilly and Brendan Gleeson should have had bigger parts to play in my eyes. I might give it another watch in the future, I'll be honest and say I watched it in patches whilst falling asleep which didn't help. I don't want to sound like I hated the film, I didn't, but I think Scorsese could have done a better job with this one.Watched The Birds last night, pretty good film. I found the whole birds attacking thing a bit stupid, it didn't seem to have much explanation behind why the attacks happened although I think that is down to the viewer to workout. I think that is my main gripe with the film although its something I expected to not like before watching it. Saying this it made it fairly amusing and I enjoyed watching it. 7/10I watched The Birds too lol.I think there not being a reason makes it more frightening- nature beat man kind of thing. The ending shot with all the birds sitting there staring at them get into the car was eerie, as was the creepy bit with all the crows outside the school. The film has not aged well haha, I found its problem is that it was too slow in places and a bit ridiculous. 6/10

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.
Rango Movie Review | Better With PopcornRango - 9 out of 10, great movie, one of the best animated films I've ever seen.
Please, if you say ‘Because it’s your destiny’, I swear to jeebus I’m going to start drinking.
PaulPlenty of funny moments in this one, and though it's probably limited in how re-watchable it may be, I found it very entertaining.
