Raw Discussion - July 28 - An End To Mayhem?

Quote
When Raw convenes in Washington, D.C. on Monday night, Shane McMahon is scheduled to appear. In recent weeks, Shane and his sister, Executive Vice President Stephanie McMahon have implored the WWE Universe to maintain composure on the brand, which has recently been overrun with civil unrest. They've also requested that our fans allow their injured father, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, the privacy he desires. Could Shane be coming to Raw to name a new General Manager?

Last Monday night, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was battling Batista in a title match when all hell broke loose. The aftermath of the no-contest match saw John Cena rush the ring to tangle with longtime foe JBL, who had charged the ring moments earlier. During his tussle with JBL, Cena inadvertently leveled Batista with a right arm.

Accident or not, the already frustrated Animal was fit to be tied. He came up swinging and the two powerhouses traded blows to end the broadcast. The confrontation between Cena and Batista begs the question, how will the next meeting go between these two?
In no less disturbing Raw action, Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix shared what can best be described as the weirdest love/hate moment Raw has seen in ages.

As The Glamazon looked on from ringside, Marella lost a match to returning Superstar D-Lo Brown. After the match, Phoenix stepped into the ring and scuffled with the spicy Italian. As the two traded waist-lock holds, they suddenly, inexplicably

Thanx for that preview Dale.
Cant wait for Raw next week. Should be an explosive one thatll lead to some fueds that will be decided at summerslam.
As for the new GM i think it will be Shane. If not i would love to see Eric Bichsoff take the GM spot again. Best GM ive seen. Although Regal comes close to my favourite aswell.

Changed the date since Dale seems to thing Monday Night Raw is on Saturdays all of a sudden :P.

personally, I hope it's not regal, I hope it's someone fresh. I enjoyed regal and i still will if it's him, but it would be nice to be surprised again.

Think I'll have a wank over these tomorrow.

Could we get a Chief Morley as commish? But I am seriously thinking that it will be Regal it gives them a loophole to bring him back after losing that match to Mr.Kennedy a couple months back.

TAG TEAM EXCELLENCE!

I hope to god it is not Regal. Like Prax, I want something fresh. I would like to see Shane hire himself as the RAW GM.
"This is my welcome!"
Shame on TNA for letting go one of the best female wrestlers in the world.

I would really be happy with that have regal and morley back in charge. i thought val was doing pretty good with that in  03 before he went back to val.

-- WWE.com has a poll on the Raw page asking fans who they think Shane and Stephanie McMahon are considering for the new General Manager of Raw. The options listed include mother Linda McMahon, Eric Bischoff, Armando Estrada, Snitsky, and Val Venis. Venis is the runaway winner of the poll with 61% of the vote as of this post. Venis is so far ahead that the person in second place, Eric Bischoff, only has 16% of the vote.

If only the WWE listened to the fans votes and you would get your wish lol. Val seems to be very popular among the wwe.com polls :lol2:

That's because Val is the MAN!
But yeah, whoever is in that poll means that none of them are going to be the GM.

I can't say I like the idea of Adamle being GM but I'll save my judgement 'till this plays out a little more...wait a minute....does this mean we won't have to suffer his commentary on ECW???
