The women of SmackDown LIVE will get another opportunity to make history tonight in the second-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The first match at WWE Money in the Bank was supposed to be a historic occasion, though it was arguably tarnished when James Ellsworth knocked Becky Lynch off a ladder, then climbed it himself. He retrieved the briefcase and tossed it down to a waiting Carmella. The Princess of Staten Island and Ellsworth gloated on SmackDown LIVE, flaunting in the faces of the WWE Universe that they had done nothing wrong by the letter of the law in the WWE Rulebook.

However, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya and Tamina saw things differently, and the four women urged SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan to “do the right thing.”

After considering all options, Bryan revealed that all five women would compete in another Ladder Match for the guaranteed title opportunity. Bryan took the briefcase from an astonished Carmella and announced on WWE Talking Smack that Ellsworth will be banned from ringside.

With Ellsworth’s meddling out of the equation, will Carmella be able to retrieve the coveted contract again, or will one of the other four Superstars be calling themselves Ms. Money in the Bank? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

Lana will get another opportunity to challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Title tonight in a clash with Naomi.

The Ravishing Russian certainly impressed the WWE Universe in her battle with Naomi at WWE Money in the Bank, but she was distracted when Carmella and James Ellsworth arrived on the scene, as The Princess of Staten Island teased that she might cash in her Money in the Bank contract. The disruption gave Naomi an opening to trap Lana in a submission hold to retain her title.

Following a backstage confrontation on the June 20 edition of SmackDown LIVE, Naomi agreed to once again defend her title against The Ravishing Russian the following week on the blue brand.

Will Lana prove she can hang with SmackDown LIVE’s best and make the most of her title opportunity, or will Naomi make The Ravishing Russian feel the glow? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

In a match requested by The Lone Wolf, Sami Zayn will battle Baron Corbin tonight on SmackDown LIVE.

Though Corbin is certainly in a position of power with the Money in the Bank briefcase in his possession, Zayn has had his number in recent weeks. The Underdog from The Underground has defeated The Lone Wolf on several occasions in singles and tag team action. However, Zayn has not gone unscathed in this rivalry, as a furious Corbin has unleashed his rage on Zayn multiple times.

Will Zayn continue his winning streak against The Lone Wolf, or will Corbin make sure that Zayn meets his End of Days? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

The Hype Bros will get an opportunity to prove themselves tonight when they face the reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos, in non-title action.

The opportunity is a long time coming for Zack Ryder & Mojo Rawley. The two won a battle royal to earn a title match last December, but Ryder suffered a knee injury while earning the victory that kept him out of action until last week. The Hype Bros looked like they hadn’t lost a step at the WWE Money in the Bank Kickoff during their impressive victory over The Colons, and now, they’ll finally get their chance to show what they can do against the champions while looking to earn a SmackDown Tag Team Title opportunity.

The Usos, however, have shown that they’re willing to do whatever it takes to stay on top of the mountain, evidenced by the count-out loss they took at WWE Money in the Bank against The New Day. How will Jimmy & Jey react when The Hype Bros turn up the heat tonight? Find out during SmackDown LIVE!

Monday Night RAW / *OFFICIAL* Raw Discussion Thread: 26th June 2017

Quote from: WWE.com
The last time Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe were under the same roof, it took a small army of security guards and nearly the entire Raw locker room to prevent the behemoths from tearing each other apart. Now, two weeks before defending Team Red’s crown jewel against The Samoan Submission Machine at the inaugural WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event, The Beast Incarnate returns to Monday night’s hottest show.

Joe has affirmed that he isn’t afraid Lesnar, but his attitude could very well change tonight in Los Angeles. Will Lesnar strike fear into the heart of his defiant No. 1 contender?

The cinematic mind games come to a head tonight in Los Angeles, when Goldust hosts the premiere of his latest motion-picture masterpiece, “The Shattered Truth,” and his former tag team partner R-Truth is at the top of the guest list.

Truth accepted The Bizarre One’s invitation, guaranteeing that Goldust is “gonna get got” in the City of Angels. Whatever happens between these two friends-turned-rivals, it’s sure to be a blockbuster worthy of Hollywood.

After weeks of speculation concerning the identity of Enzo Amore’s mystery backstage attacker, it was revealed last Monday night that Big Cass was the one responsible for the heinous attacks, claiming that Enzo was holding him back both personally and professionally before laying out his longtime best friend with a sickening big boot.

Although Amore has continued his social media beef with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, he’s also no doubt grappling with the reality that his closest ally in the world has ruthlessly abandoned him. We’ll hopefully hear from Enzo tonight.

Bray Wyatt considers himself a “god,” but he’ll get no worship from Seth Rollins, who toppled the would-be deity with a sacrifice dive from the top rope to the outside that resulted in The Kingslayer needing three stitches to close a gash on the side of his face.

The Eater of Worlds’ labyrinthine proclamations seem to have had no effect on Rollins, who continues to label Wyatt as a “coward.” Might Wyatt make the WWE 2K18 cover Superstar regret his so-called “blasphemy” sooner than later?

Braun Strowman’s not finished with Roman Reigns.

Last Monday night, The Monster Among Men returned to Raw by emerging from the back of an ambulance, brutalizing The Big Dog and challenging the former WWE Champion to an Ambulance Match at the WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event — a fitting stipulation given their storied history with emergency vehicles.

To win the bout, one must incapacitate their opponent, throw them into the back of a waiting ambulance and close the doors. Flipping over the vehicle with your opponent inside is not required in this type of match — nor is it something that any rational Superstar should consider — but we all know Strowman and reason don’t mix. The Ambulance Match is still weeks away, but we hope emergency personnel are on-hand if Reigns and Strowman collide before WWE Great Balls of Fire.

Don’t miss any of the action on Monday Night Raw, tonight!

Though Daniel Bryan is likely excited about his return to Team Blue, The Beard has vowed to immediately address the controversy surrounding Carmella’s victory in the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The Princess of Staten Island walked out with a contract for a guaranteed SmackDown Women’s Championship Match, but only after James Ellsworth knocked Becky Lynch off a ladder and climbed it himself, retrieving the briefcase and dropping it into the waiting arms of Carmella.

Through social media, the other Ladder Match participants have expressed their fury over Ellsworth ruining their historic moment. With all eyes in the WWE Universe turning toward Team Blue, how will Bryan settle this controversial matter?

Baron Corbin stood tall at the conclusion of WWE Money in the Bank, winning the Ladder Match to earn a guaranteed WWE Championship Match at any time over the next year. The Lone Wolf wasted no time inserting himself into the title picture, confronting titleholder Jinder Mahal on WWE Talking Smack after WWE Money in the Bank.

With Corbin eying the right moment to strike, will SmackDown LIVE provide him with an opening to take the WWE Championship?

Jinder Mahal once again proved just how low he’s willing to go to keep the WWE Championship, as The Singh Brothers caused a distraction by threatening Randy Orton’s father, WWE Hall of Famer “Cowboy” Bob Orton. Mahal took advantage of Sunil & Samir’s blatant display of disrespect, defeating The Viper at WWE Money in the Bank.

The Modern-Day Maharaja will surely be ready to gloat after beating Orton in his hometown of St. Louis, but will Mahal have to watch out for a retribution-minded Viper?

The power of love is a curious thing, and it’s coming to SmackDown LIVE.

Maria Kanellis returned to WWE at Money in the Bank, revealing that she had been searching for the perfect partner during her time away. That search ended when she met her husband, Mike Kanellis. Now, the couple claims they’re here to teach Team Blue about the power of love, whatever that may entail. The happy couple capped off their arrival with a romantic slow dance for the WWE Universe, seemingly giving credence to their claims.

Will Maria & Mike continue to teach their lessons in love to the WWE Universe? Find out on SmackDown LIVE, tonight!

The Beard is coming back!

SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan revealed on Twitter last Friday that he will return to Team Blue this week.

Bryan has not been seen on SmackDown LIVE since the completion of the Superstar Shake-up on April 11, as he joined his wife, Brie Bella, to welcome daughter Birdie Joe into the world. The couple’s first child arrived on May 9, and now, Bryan is ready to get back to business.

The General Manager will rejoin SmackDown LIVE at a critical juncture, just two days after WWE Money in the Bank, where not only did Team Blue’s men compete for a guaranteed WWE Championship opportunity, but the women also battled in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a guaranteed SmackDown Women’s Title Match for the first time ever. Having won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2011 and cashed in successfully to become World Heavyweight Champion, Bryan knows just how unpredictable things can become once the Money in the Bank briefcase comes into play.

Will Daniel Bryan’s return to SmackDown LIVE go smoothly, or will he come back to a Team Blue that’s more chaotic than ever? Find out on SmackDown LIVE, tonight!

The Big Dog has some big plans for The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Live on Raw tonight, Roman Reigns will make an announcement concerning his involvement in this year’s SummerSlam, which will emanate from Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Barclays Center on Sunday, Aug. 20.

Although Reigns was unsuccessful in earning the right to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view — that honor went to Samoa Joe at WWE Extreme Rules — The Big Dog remains focused on ruling over and defending his “yard” on Team Red. On Twitter, Reigns warned that “not everyone is going to like” what he has to say.

No matter what it entails, Reigns’ proclamation will surely change the landscape of WWE’s annual summer spectacular.

Don’t miss Reigns’ SummerSlam announcement tonight on Raw.

When a Superstar intentionally provokes Brock Lesnar, it typically doesn’t work out too well for them. However, Samoa Joe showed zero fear in the face of the reigning, defending Universal Champion last Monday night, when he started a brawl with The Beast Incarnate that required virtually the entire locker room to restore the peace — or at least to pry the behemoths apart.

Joe put a punctuation mark on the brutality with a swift superkick that momentarily staggered The Anomaly and, later in the night, he fearlessly affirmed that he will put Lesnar “to sleep” on Sunday, July 9, at the WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view. Will his prediction ring true?

In a sit-down interview with Corey Graves last Monday night, former Raw Women’s Champion Bayley opened up about her defeat to current titleholder Alexa Bliss in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match at WWE Extreme Rules, saying, “I’m not here to put bruises on people’s backs or to send people to the hospital. I’m here to put smiles on people’s faces.” It remains to be seen whether that mindset — to be the best, her way — will help her overcome the increasingly aggressive competitors in the Raw Women’s division, including Alexa, Nia Jax, the returning Emma and even Bayley’s longtime friend, Sasha Banks. Can The Huggable One walk into next year’s WrestleMania with the Raw Women’s Title around her waist, as she did at this year’s Show of Shows?

Last Monday night, the anticipated 2-out-of-3 Falls Raw Tag Team Championship Match between The Hardy Boyz and Cesaro & Sheamus ended in a double count-out, making the match a draw and leading to a title retention for the defending brawlers.

Matt commented on the questionable victory for The Celtic Warrior and The Swiss Cyborg later that night, calling their self-applied moniker of “The Bar” ironic given the circumstances.

And yet, having lost their rematch, The Hardy Boyz will need to earn their next opportunity at Team Red’s tandem titles. How will The Hardys earn an opportunity for retribution against Cesaro & Sheamus? Their new quest begins on Raw.

Last week, when Seth Rollins confronted Bray Wyatt and called him a coward, The Eater of Worlds gave The Kingslayer a taste of his power, vanishing from the ring and telling Rollins from the TitanTron, “You may have found the will to slay a king, but a god lives forever.”

Will Rollins soon regret gaining the attention of one of the eeriest Superstars in WWE history? In fact, might he regret it as soon as tonight on Raw?
