CZW 12/9 "Cage of Death" Results: NWA WORLDS TITLE CHANGE!

Cage of Death 19 Kick-Off Hosted by the BLVD Bullies
Storm of Entrails def. Shane Sabre, Blackwater, Kody Rice, G-Raver, and Johnny Silver to win the Ultimate Opportunity Coin.
At the conclusion of the match, Alex Reynolds arrived and took out Johnny Silver costing him the match.  This allowed the Storm of Entrails to drive their opponents through doors and take the victory.

Cage of Death 19 Main Show
Matt Tremont def. Jimmy Lloyd in a Thumbtack Massacre Deathmatch

Tim Storm Arrives in the Combat Zone
Following his Thumbtack Massacre victory, Matt Tremont called out the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.  Storm impressed with Tremont’s victory was about to accept his challenge when Ethan Page arrived.  Page berated the champion.  Being the fighting champion, Storm granted Page a title opportunity. However, Page refused to take the match in Sewell, NJ.  MJF arrived next and started to mock the NWA Champion’s age.  When Storm was about to give MJF his opportunity, NWA Legend Austin Idol arrived and began to give reasons why Storm’s time as champion was finish. Idol then introduced Nick Aldis, who had a guaranteed rematch with Storm.  Aldis then proclaimed that he would walk out of Cage of Death and CZW forever as NWA Worlds Champion!

Mr. Claxton def. Alex Colon
The conclusion of the match saw Claxton use the tights to pin Colon.  Following the match, Danny Havoc returned to the Combat Zone and beat Claxton with a trashcan lid and sent him back into the ring for further punishment from Colon!

David Starr def. Ethan Page
Following the match, Starr proclaimed that he would become the Best of the Best 17 champion in 2018!

DJ Hyde Addresses the Combat Zone
Hyde continued to show that he turned over a new leaf as he made some major announcements for 2018.  First he announced that international wrestling superstar Will Osprey will compete in the Combat Zone in April when CZW heads down to Wrestlecon in New Orleans.  He then confirmed that Best of the Best would return home to the Greater Philadelphia Area later in the month.  The first entry?  Brandon Kirk!

The REP w/Maven Bentley def. oVe w/JT Davidson, Scarlet & Graves, and Barry & Reynolds
The conclusion of the match saw Johnny Silver return and distract Barry & Reynolds, ultimately leading to the REP stealing the championships!

Nick Aldis def. Tim Storm to become the NEW NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion

Jimmy Jacobs def. Jimmy Havoc

Greg Excellent & Chrissy Rivera def. Ace Romero

MJF w/Penelope Ford def. Joey Janela to become the UNDISPUTED CZW Wired Champion
Due to the court injunction, Janela’s lost results in MJF’s loss to Janela expunged as well as Janela’s Wired Championship victory.  Following the match, Ford turned on her boyfriend and kneed MJF in the groin.  She, along with Janela, would continue the assault which saw Ford dive from the top rope to the outside to taken out MJF!

Rickey Shane Page def. Shane Strickland & Joe Gacy to retain the CZW World Championship inside the Cage of Death
In what is being described as one of the most chaotic Cage of Death Matches in recent history, the match saw Gacy’s followers get involved in the match.  But before they could get fully involved in the match Kit Osbourne returned from his injury and took Dan Barry from the top of the cage to the outside eliminating ALL of the followers.  Minutes later, another masked man arrived and met Gacy at the top of the cage.  He would toss Pro Wrestling’s Maniac from the top of the cage through glass and to the floor.  He unmasked and revealed himself to be Anthony Gangone!  Thanks to Gangone, this left RSP and Shane Strickland to battle to the end where RSP would ultimately be victorious.

CZW returns for the CZW "Nineteen", our 19th anniversary celebration, on February 10!

Tuesday Night SmackDown / *OFFICIAL* SmackDown Discussion Thread: 12th December 2017

The fate of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be decided during a tag team battle against Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Clash of Champions, as the troublesome duo’s careers in all of WWE will be on the line. But before the huge showdown in Boston, KO will have to step inside the squared circle with The King of Strong Style on this tonight’s edition of SmackDown LIVE, with Zayn and Orton in their partner’s respective corners.

After Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan forced Owens to be handcuffed to the ring rope to prevent him from interfering in Orton and Zayn’s match last Tuesday, KO used bolt cutters to escape and subsequently unleash a vicious attack on The Viper, with a little help from his best friend. The assault was thwarted thanks to Nakamura, who burst onto the scene and clobbered KO and Zayn with thunderous Kinshasa knee strikes.

What will happen when these two rivals lock horns? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

WWE Champion AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal are on a collision course set for WWE Clash of Champions. However, the bitter rivals will come face to face one last time before their battle in Boston tonight on SmackDown LIVE.

Mahal has been in a rage since his WWE Title reign came to an end in Manchester, England last month at the hands of The Phenomenal One. The Modern Day Maharaja unleashed his fury on Styles last week, blindsiding the champion before he was set to take on Mahal’s associates, The Singh Brothers, in a Handicap Match. Despite the attack, Samir & Sunil were no match for the victorious Styles, who even booted Mahal in the face when he tried to interfere.

Will these two Superstars be able to meet face to face without coming to blows? What will happen as this combustible rivalry nears its boiling point? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

All six Superstars will be at ringside for the SmackDown Women’s Championship Match this Sunday, serving as Lumberjacks for the title bout between Charlotte Flair and Natalya. Before their focus turns to keeping those two competitors inside the ring, however, The Riott Squad and Carmella, Tamina & Lana will have the opportunity to unleash their fury on each other.

All six women are upset at being left out of the title picture and confronted Smackdown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan about it last week, leading to the announcement of the Lumberjack Match for the title. Yet, with tensions running high throughout Team Blue’s Women’s division, this match has been made in hopes that the tension won’t spill over into the title bout. What will happen when these two trios clash on SmackDown LIVE?

Last Tuesday, Rusev & Aiden English turned the SmackDown LIVE Tag Team division on its head after defeating The New Day and being added into the SmackDown Tag Team Title Match at WWE Clash of Champions. This week, the pair will get the chance to rack up another big win ahead of the Fatal 4-Way Match for the titles when they take on the reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos.

Will this Rusev Day be filled with elation for The Bulgarian Brute and the bard of Team Blue? Or will their holiday be spent on lockdown in the Uso Penitentiary?

On the last edition of The Fashion Files, The Ascension made a truly brave sacrifice, staying behind in a room being filled with poisonous gas so their best friends, Breezango, could escape and continue their investigations.

Tonight, Tyler Breeze & Fandango will honor their best friends in A Very Special Fashion Files. How will The Fashion Police pay tribute to Konnor & Viktor? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

Monday Night RAW / *OFFICIAL* Raw Discussion Thread: 11th December 2017
« Last post by Awesome on 11 December 2017, 09:53:15 PM »
Quote from: WWE.com
After weeks of back-and-forth brutality, Braun Strowman will once again meet Kane in the middle of the ring, which will no doubt buckle under the combined weight of these powerhouse Superstars.

Claiming he is the red brand’s “only monster,” The Big Red Machine has targeted The Monster Among Men in recent weeks, and their escalating rivalry has caused them to inflict inhumane amounts of damage on each other and their surroundings. When they collide on Raw, everyone had best stay out of the way.

After Raw General Manager Kurt Angle restarted last Monday night’s Raw Tag Team Championship main event, making it a No Disqualification Match, Samoa Joe interfered and cost Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose the chance to recapture the titles, much to the delight of Cesaro & Sheamus and the chagrin of all three members of The Shield.

Fortunately, The Hounds of Justice will have an opportunity at redemption when they square off against the three nefarious Superstars in singles action. Live on Raw, it will be Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro, Ambrose vs. Joe and Rollins vs. Sheamus.

Don’t miss any of the action live on Raw!

Virtually the entire Raw Women’s division has felt the wrath of Absolution, but for two weeks in a row, Paige, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville have attempted to intimidate — but not attack — the undefeated Asuka.

It seems like only a matter of time before the trio gets their hands on The Empress of Tomorrow (or vice versa). Will Asuka and Absolution finally collide in Cleveland?

Matt Hardy is officially “Woken.” In a bewildering back-and-forth exchange with Bray Wyatt on Raw, Matt Hardy sentenced The Eater of Worlds (a.k.a., apparently, “The Consumer of Terrestrial Entities”) to “deletion.”

As the WWE Universe dissects and analyzes the veteran Superstar’s mystifying new mindset, Wyatt must brace himself for an altogether different Matt Hardy than the one he faced last month on Raw. The “Great War” could very well be upon us.

Don’t miss Raw, tonight.

The SmackDown LIVE Superstars were left fuming after Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn meddled in the Men’s Traditional Survivor Series Match to contribute to Team Blue’s loss to Raw in the battle for brand supremacy at Survivor Series. Randy Orton was so angry, SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan had to send him home to prevent The Viper from taking matters into his own hands.

After revealing that he would not be firing Owens and Zayn, Bryan also gave KO a preview of what lies ahead for him: a one-on-one battle with The Apex Predator. What will happen when Orton has Owens to himself inside the squared circle?

Last Tuesday, the SmackDown LIVE Women’s division was turned on its head with the shocking arrival of of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan from NXT. The trio immediately made their presence felt, viciously attacking Naomi and Becky Lynch in the locker room, then interrupting the SmackDown Women’s Title Match between Charlotte Flair and Natalya, laying waste to both competitors.

This week on SmackDown LIVE, the newcomers will get the opportunity to back up their impactful arrival inside the squared circle when they make their in-ring debut. Riott, Morgan & Logan will face Charlotte, Naomi & Natalya in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match. Will the veteran members of Team Blue teach the rookies a lesson in respect, or will Riott, Morgan & Logan continue to run roughshod over SmackDown LIVE?

Despite being two days removed from a grueling battle with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, WWE Champion AJ Styles boldly called out Jinder Mahal last Tuesday for The Modern Day Maharaja’s WWE Championship rematch. However, Mahal had no interest in competing that night, instead declaring that the rematch would take place on his terms at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, Dec. 17.

As soon as Mahal made the blockbuster announcement, The Singh Brothers blindsided The Phenomenal One, though Styles soon overwhelmed Samir and Sunil and stared Mahal down as he planted Samir into the canvas with the Styles Clash. After the attack, it was announced that Styles will face The Singhs in a Handicap Match on tonight’s edition of SmackDown LIVE. Will Styles dominate Mahal’s cohorts once again?

Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable have been quite the confident tandem ever since they earned the right to challenge SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, then defeated the champions in a title match, albeit by countout.

The mat-wrestling masters believe they should get another crack at Jimmy & Jey’s titles, which doesn’t sit well with four-time Tag Team Champions The New Day. The two teams have been going back and forth on social media, leading to a tag team showdown being made for SmackDown LIVE. Who will emerge victorious?

When we last saw The Fashion Files, stranger(er) things were afoot for Tyler Breeze, Fandango and their best pals, The Ascension. But their investigation got turned upside down when the lights went out at the precinct. When power returned, The Fashion Police’s office was in shreds as a video showing a mysterious masked figure made an enigmatic statement: “Let the games begin.”

What does that shadowy declaration mean for Breezango and their best friends? Find out in an all-new Fashion Files, tonight on SmackDown LIVE!

Monday Night RAW / *OFFICIAL* Raw Discussion Thread: 27th November 2017
« Last post by Awesome on 27 November 2017, 09:47:07 PM »
Quote from: WWE.com
Despite the attempted intervention of Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus (thwarted masterfully by Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose), Roman Reigns Speared The Miz last Monday night to claim the Intercontinental Title and become a Grand Slam Champion, having previously held the WWE Tag Team Titles, the U.S. Title and the WWE Title.

In a WWE.com interview after the win, The Big Dog hinted that an open challenge could be in the cards.

“Anybody can get it,” Reigns told Mike Rome. He later tweeted, “Wherever I am, consider it my yard. So, if you want my title, all you have to do is step up.”

Workhorse champions like John Cena, Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles have instituted open challenges in the past, and it seems like Reigns is keeping that tradition alive.

If this is the case, who will “step up” to “The Guy” on Raw?

Before Dean Ambrose put away Sheamus in singles combat last week, he and Seth Rollins made it clear that they intend to recapture the Raw Tag Team Titles from The Celtic Warrior and Cesaro.

After thwarting their intervention during Roman Reigns’ Intercontinental Title opportunity against The Miz — a bout The Big Dog won — the Shield brothers seem primed to put some championship gold around their own waists.

When will The Hounds of Justice get their Raw Tag Team Championship rematch?

The Raw Women’s division is officially on notice. During a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss’ next challenger, Paige returned to WWE after more than a year, with NXT’s Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in tow. The trio laid out Bayley, Sasha Banks and Mickie James in ruthless fashion, but they didn’t stop there. When Little Miss Bliss attempted to welcome Paige and her new allies to Team Red, Alexa suffered the same fate as her would-be challengers.

Sasha, Bayley and Mickie will have a chance at retribution when they take on Paige, Mandy and Sonya in six-woman tag team action tonight, live on Raw.

As Braun Strowman battled Jason Jordan — a bout ordered by Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon — Kane emerged after a week’s absence to ambush The Monster Among Men, crushing Strowman’s throat with the aid of a steel chair and the ring steps.

The behemoth refused medical attention after the attack, but he won’t refuse a chance at retribution against The Big Red Machine. What repercussions await Kane on Raw?

Despite “The Zo Train’s” defeat last Monday night, plus Akira Tozawa’s win over Drew Gulak in a Street Fight the next night on 205 Live, the allies of WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore have reason to celebrate, standing tall over their enemies at the conclusion of Tuesday night’s broadcast.

With Gulak, Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese by his side, The Certified G seems unstoppable. Is there anyone who can shut Amore’s mouth and take his title?

Don’t miss Monday Night Raw!
